THE 2024 CAREER FAIR IS A DEFINITION OF DEDICATION AND PROFESSIONALISM - DIRECTOR OF THE ENGINEERING CAMPUS

SEBERANG JAYA, 26 April 2024 - The Career Fair (CF) 2024 is a premier platform for students to showcase their skills and aspirations, as well as a demonstration of the unwavering commitment of faculty and staff, says the Campus Director of Engineering Campus of Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), Professor Datin Dr. Azlina Harun @ Kamaruddin.

“It embodies the ethos of dedication and professionalism that defines our institution,” says Azlina while giving her opening speech at the Gala Dinner of CF 2024 here today.

“The Career Fair has become one of the hallmark events on our campus and a symbol of the exceptional ability and potential of our students.

“Not only does it showcase your skills, but it also embodies the very essence of the innovation, collaboration and determination that define our community,” she added.

She also praised the tireless work of staff and CF 2024 committee members whose efforts made the fair a beacon of excellence, attracting prestigious employers and providing unparalleled opportunities for students.

At the same event, the Director of CF 2024, Mr. Loh Yuan Jun said, the Campus Director, Professor Datin Dr Azlina Binti Harun @ Kamaruddin, and CF 2024 Advisor, Professor Ir. Ts. Dr Shahrel Azmin Bin Sundi @ Suandi, deserve special recognition for their unwavering support and guidance.

“Their leadership has played a pivotal role in steering the event to a successful conclusion” says Loh.

“Reflecting on the achievements of the past year, there is a sense of optimism and excitement for the future of the Career Fair.

“The event has successfully bridged the gap between the USM community and industry, laying the foundation for a brighter future for students, the community and the nation,” he added.

He is also confident in the legacy of excellence and innovation established, expresses his gratitude for the unwavering support received, and looks forward to continuing to work and succeed in the years to come.
