NIBONG TEBAL, 1 June 2024 - Following two years of meticulous planning and dedicated effort, the USM RC Plane Club successfully hosted the inaugural edition of the RC FEST (Remote Control Festival), marking a significant milestone for the club and attracting considerable attention.

The event was a resounding success, captivating the audience as six pilots from each squadron of the club demonstrated their aerobatic skills and remarkable composure in the skies.

This was made possible by the extensive investments of time by ground crews in designing and constructing their respective remote-control jets in preparation for RC Fest 2024.

Meanwhile, the pilots refined their skills using remote control simulators, and upon completing their inaugural flights, each pilot was bestowed with a callsign symbolizing their dedication and commitment, preparing the squadrons to compete in RC FEST 2024 with their jets ready.

Additionally, the event included STEM exhibitions by the USM IET on Campus and the USM Drone Club.
