The School of Civil Engineering (SoCE) at Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) offers a Bachelor of Civil Engineering with Honours, a prestigious programme that has been accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Council (EAC) since 2009. In 2024, the programme was granted a six-year accreditation, marking the second time it has achieved this highest level of recognition, reinforcing its commitment to academic excellence and industry relevance. SoCE proactively prepares students for the rapid technological advancements in the field by collaborating with industry through certification and competency programs.
Beyond undergraduate studies, SoCE provides postgraduate opportunities tailored to both academic and professional advancement. The school offers a Master of Science in Fire Safety Engineering (mixed mode), designed to equip professionals with specialized expertise in fire safety.
