USM ENGINEERING CAMPUS WELCOMES COURTESY VISIT FROM UNIVERSITAS MERCU BUANA

NIBONG TEBAL, 5 May 2025 - The Engineering Campus of Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) welcomed a delegation from the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Mercu Buana, Indonesia, on a courtesy visit to strengthen academic collaboration between the two institutions.

The delegates were welcomed by the Director of the USM Engineering Campus, Professor Ir. Dr. Mariatti Jaafar @ Mustapha.

During the visit, both parties held a discussion session to exchange ideas and explore potential academic collaborations, particularly in the fields of Mechanical, Electrical and Civil Engineering.

As part of the programme, the visiting delegates were also taken on a tour of several schools within the campus, including the School of Civil Engineering, the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering and the School of Mechanical Engineering.

The visit was attended by 23 participants from Universitas Mercu Buana, comprising students and academic staff from the three engineering disciplines, including the Rektor of Universitas Mercu Buana, Professor Dr. Ir. Andi Adrianshah.
