NIBONG TEBAL, 13 June 2025 – The spirit of togetherness and compassion among the Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) Engineering Campus community was further strengthened through the successful organisation of the “Kongsi Rezeki Bersama: Sentuhan Ukhuwah Pusat Islam” programme, held recently at Kafe Lembaran.

Jointly organised by the Student Representative Council (MPP), Islamic Student Association (PMI) and Sustainable Student Programme Mentors (PPSL), the event drew enthusiastic student participation, beginning with a gotong-royong (communal effort) to prepare bubur lambuk, a traditional porridge dish.

Harraz Hazreeq Mohd Hairil Nizam, Deputy Director of the programme, said the initiative not only nurtured noble values among students but also served as a platform to foster stronger ties among various campus stakeholders.

Meanwhile, Muhammad Nuraiman Mohd Yusrino, MPP representative from the School of Civil Engineering, noted that the programme was proof that even a modest initiative could leave a significant impact in shaping a caring and harmonious campus community.
