ENGINEERING CAMPUS DIRECTOR RALLIES PIPIT HUTAN CONTINGENT FOR HARI WARGA STAF 2025

NIBONG TEBAL, 4 August 2025 - More than 200 athletes from the Pipit Hutan contingent attended a gathering with Universiti Sains Malaysia’s (USM) Engineering Campus Director, Professor Ir. Dr. Mariatti Jaafar @ Mustapha, in preparation for Hari Warga Staf 2025 (HWS 2025).

In her address, Professor Mariatti expressed confidence in the contingent’s ability to excel in the 10 contested events, highlighting their advantage as the host.

“As the host, we have the edge, and I hope we can bring home the HWS 2025 Challenge Trophy (Piala Pusingan), which will take place on August 15 and 16,” she said.

She acknowledged that participating as an athlete in such an event requires commitment, tolerance, and sacrifice, and expressed her appreciation to all involved, including those working behind the scenes.

Meanwhile, Pipit Hutan contingent leader, Professor Ir. Dr. Fadzli Mohamed Nazri, urged the athletes to maintain high morale and team unity.

“Although we are a small team, our spirit is big,” he said.

“This HWS 2025, we move forward with collective determination and unity to deliver our best performance,” he added.

Hari Warga Staf is a two-year USM event, with the Engineering Campus serving as host for this year’s edition.
