KOLEJ MARA KULIM STUDENTS ON ACADEMIC VISIT TO USM ENGINEERING CAMPUS

NIBONG TEBAL, 2 December 2025 - A total of 52 physical science students from Kolej MARA Kulim embarked on an academic visit to the Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) Engineering Campus on December 2, 2025.

The group was received by the USM Engineering Campus Promotion Committee, led by Associate Professor Dr Mohamad Hekarl Uzir, together with Mohd Kamil Ashar, Principal Assistant Registrar of the Engineering Campus Director's Office.

According to Kolej MARA Kulim lecturer Anita Baha, the visit aimed to provide students with insights into the academic programmes offered and an opportunity to experience the learning environment at USM.

She said that such early exposure was essential in helping students prepare for their undergraduate studies, particularly in engineering-related fields.

The visit also involved two accompanying lecturers. During the session, students were briefed and engaged in academic sharing conducted by members of the USM Engineering Campus Promotion Committee.
