The initiative, led under the special directive of the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dato’ Seri Ir. Dr. Abdul Rahman Mohamed, aims to further expand Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) engagement and awareness among the community.
The programme, held at the campus today, involved 30 standard five pupils and six teachers, focusing on early exposure to STEM.

According to programme representative from Sains@USM, Rohaya Husny Pahmy, the initiative serves as a platform to cultivate students’ interest in STEM through practical, hands-on activities guided by USM lecturers and students.
She said the hands-on approach is designed to spark creativity, innovative thinking, and confidence among the pupils as they explore future opportunities in technology-related fields.
