50 KOLEJ MARA KUALA NERANG STUDENTS VISIT USM ENGINEERING CAMPUS

NIBONG TEBAL, 20 January 2026 - A total of 50 feeder students from Kolej MARA Kuala Nerang visited the Universiti Sains Malaysia Engineering Campus today.

The visit provided students the opportunity to explore and understand the academic programmes offered at the campus before pursuing their studies.

Students were also introduced to the academic environment and campus facilities to strengthen their interest in science, technology, and innovation.

During the programme, students attended a forum with representatives from six engineering schools, namely Aerospace, Civil, Electrical and Electronic, Materials and Mineral Resources, Chemical and Mechanical.

The forum allowed students to gain a deeper understanding and ask questions about the courses offered. The visit also included an exploration of the campus hangar.

Also present were the Chairman of the USM Engineering Campus Promotion Committee, Associate Professor Dr. Mohamad Hekarl Uzir, the Deputy Chairman Ir. Dr. Mohamad Tarmizi Abu Seman and the Chief Assistant Registrar of the Office of the Engineering Campus Director, Mohd Kamil Ashar.
