BERAMBEH SISWA 4.0 PROMOTES COMMUNITY SPIRIT AND VOLUNTEERISM AT KAMPUNG ANAK AIR

NIBONG TEBAL, 1 May 2026 - Pembimbing Pelajar Siswa Lestari (PPSL), Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin Engineering Campus (KKTSS), recently organised the Berambeh Siswa 4.0 programme at Kampung Anak Air, Kuantan.

The five-day programme involved the participation of 53 students from Year One to Year Four and was led by a second-year student from the School of Mechanical Engineering, Nazrul Danny Nazaruddin, who served as the Project Director.

A total of 14 families from Kampung Anak Air participated as host families throughout the programme, including former Vice-Chancellor of Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), Professor Emeritus Dato’ Sri Dr. Daing Nasir Ibrahim.

Berambeh Siswa 4.0 focused on community service initiatives in line with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 17, namely “Partnerships for the Goals”.

Among the activities conducted throughout the programme were gotong-royong activities, mural painting, traditional games and sports, community cooking activities, visits to the Sungai Lembing Museum and a keropok manufacturing factory, as well as spiritual sessions.

The closing ceremony was attended by the Special Officer to the Tanjung Lumpur State Assembly Coordinator, Tuan Haji Fadzilah Mohamad Tahir, together with the Head of Kampung Anak Air, Encik Mohamad Farizal Mohd Nor.

Also involved in making the programme a success were staff and officers from the Student Development and Alumni Affairs Division (BHEPA), led by the Head of the BHEPA Unit at KKTSS, Mohd Hafiz Ali Mohd Anuar.
