ZON 3 CROWNED CHAMPIONS OF SUKJAP NETBALL TOURNAMENT 2026

NIBONG TEBAL, 21 May 2026 - Zone 3 was crowned champion of the Sukan Antara Jabatan (SUKJAP) Netball Tournament 2026, while Zone 6 emerged as the first runner-up. Meanwhile, Zone 2 and Zone 5 secured third and fourth places respectively in the tournament.

The SUKJAP Netball Tournament 2026, Piala Professor Madya Ts. Dr. Hjh. Fatimah Binti De'nan, was successfully held on 20 and 21 May 2026 at the Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin Engineering Campus, Universiti Sains Malaysia.

The tournament received encouraging participation from the campus community, involving six zones representing various schools and departments.

Zone 1 was represented by the School of Chemical Engineering, Security Department, Student & Alumni Development Affairs Division, and Islamic Centre. Zone 2 comprised the School of Materials and Mineral Resources Engineering, Registrar’s Department, Director’s Office, and the Science and Engineering Research Centre.

Zone 3 consisted of the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Digital Transformation Centre, Desasiwa Jaya Lembaran Utama, University Housing and Accommodation Center, while Zone 4 was represented by the School of Civil Engineering, River Engineering and Urban Drainage Research Centre, and Languages, Literacies & Translation Centre.

For Zone 5, participation included the School of Mechanical Engineering, Library, Health Unit, and Co-curriculum Centre, while Zone 6 comprised the School of Aerospace Engineering, Development Department, Bursary Department, Occupational Safety and Health Unit, and the SWA-Accreditation Center.
